The Refugee Health Technical Assistance Center (RHTAC) recognizes that refugees have unique health needs. We are dedicated to improving the well-being of refugees by providing tools, resources, and support for health and mental health providers in order to better meet the needs of refugees in resettlement.
Through the RHTAC you can:
- Find basic information about refugees and their access to health care.
- Learn about physical and mental health among refugees.
- Download training materials and resources.
- Join our mailing list and receive our newsletter.
- Attend our webinars.
RHTAC is funded by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR). The Refugee and Immigrant Health Program, Massachusetts Department of Public Health, is the lead agency. The RHTAC leadership team consists of nationally-recognized organizations with extensive experience in the field of refugee health and in improving the quality of services to refugees.
In addition to RHTAC, ORR funds a number of technical assistance grants to organizations with expertise in a particular area. Visit ORR for a list of technical assistance providers organized by topic area.
